This place was perfect. It was so clean, and right across the street from the beach. It was a 1 minute walk. Parking is perfect, the pool and hot tub were amazing. I highly recommend this condo. What I liked most about this place was the location and the nice views. It was in a perfect location across from the beach and walkable establishments. As for the condo and the experience with the host - it was alright. It wasn’t the best but not the worst. While I’m extremely grateful for them allowing us to stay on their property, there were a few things that I did not particularly like. I understand that the host only permits 6 guests max, but I did not think it would be an issue to bring an extra child with us. Other hosts have not cared or charged us extra for an extra guest. At the end of the day we are the ones who will figure out how to make it work. The other thing we did not like was that we were offered early check in, but the unit was not ready. I feel like I had to threaten to call my CC company to get a refund. The inside of the unit is a little worn, but the furniture looks fairly new. Overall, I’d recommend, but be wary of the things I shared.

We truly enjoyed our stay this past week. The condo was very nice and excellent location to the beach and other nearby restaurants that we always enjoy while vacationing in Miramar!

Overall our stay was decent. We loved the view and the proximity to our favorite restaurant. The unit however needs some serious TLC, broken tiles and the appliances were not working properly. Also the keypad on the door is a little funky. But worked. Chris was great with his communication and we were able to get a couple maintenance crews in to fix the refrigerator which was leaking. We appreciated the urgency.

Everything we needed except beach towels was there but we knew that ahead of time. The beach is right there and it's walkable to a couple of bars/restaurants as well as a convenience store and ice cream shop. Destin is only a few minutes drive away. The area is safe, fun, and relaxing.

I walk barefoot in the house. I didn't feel one speck of sand on the floors! View was great! Priximity to the beach was perfect! The ONLY thing that I could say that needs to be updated is the bathroom. It was very clean but you can only paint and caulk 1/4 round trim so many times before it looks crappy. The host was super nice and accommodating. The check in process was very simple and easy as well as checking out. The condo complex is nice. This Condo is on the 3rd floor so if you don’t like walking up several steps this is not the place for you. The view was spectacular! The condo needs a deep clean and a little updating. We stayed in unit 303 for a week. The condo was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated with all amenities we needed. The 3rd floor balcony offered a beautiful view of the Gulf. The on-site pool was clean and a great way to cool down after a hot day at the beach. Beach access was directly across the street which allowed us to walk and not worry about finding parking at the public access. We will definitely stay there again. KP

Great location. Heated pool. Everything we needed for the beach including a small cooler. I loved being able to sit on the balcony and see and hear the ocean!

P.S. keep some cash with you at all times for the ice cream truck that comes through a few times a day!!

Great location for the price! Comfortably slept all 4 of us. Great view of the pool and ocean. Easy walk to the beach and local restaurants. Chris gave us clear directions/instructions, and was quick to respond if we had any questions. This was my first time using Airbnb, and I couldn’t have had a better experience.

This place is exactly as described, and the pictures were exactly how our condo looked. My family throughly enjoyed it. Chris our host was very responsive, gave exact details that was needed for our stay. You can watch the waves from the large balcony. The pool and hot tub was a hit with my kids. The kitchen had the needed accessories for me to prepare a meal for my family. You won’t be disappointed. We will definitely book from Chris in the future. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

This was our first time in Miramar/Destin area. We loved the location and the view of the ocean from our balcony. It was awesome to be able to walk across the street to the beach or Pompano Joes. Communication with the owner and property manager was awesome! And there were beach toys, chairs, boogie boards etc for us to use. That was a huge bonus as we had forgotten one of our boogie boards and beach toys, so we ended up not having to spend money on those things. We have 3 kids, 8, 7, and 5, and have stayed in a similarly laid out condo before with a main bedroom and bunks in the hallway. This time it just felt a little too crowded for us. So, nothing against the unit, just an FYI for families our size with older kids. Beautiful view from the balcony! The location is right across the street from the beach, which makes everything easier especially if you have kids. Basics were provided such as hand soap, dish soap, cleaning supplies, etc. They also had beach chairs, floaties, and sand toys for the kids. Chris was responsive whenever we had any questions. We will definitely come back again :)

This was our first time using AirBnB, and we couldn't be happier. The condo was absolutely perfect! Literally across the street from the beautiful white sand beaches. We had two adults and four teenagers in our group, and the teens loved being able to walk to the beach by themselves if the adults were ready for a break from the sun. The condo was very clean and stocked with the needed supplies for our group to prepare our own meals. Being able to walk out the patio door and go directly to the pool/hot tub area was fabulous. The condo is located in a nice area with a sidewalk/boardwalk where we could easily walk to restaurants or other stores in the area. I enjoy early morning walks and felt very safe going out by myself. Our group would definitely stay here again.

Summer Breeze is an awesome place! The location is unbelievable! It's close to several restaurants within walking distance and even more within a short drive. Depending on the time of year traffic can be a deal breaker or maker. Summer Breeze is the best of both! I will stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo is clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The master bed was comfy and we have bad backs! The view is to die for, we can’t wait to come back next year. We’d definitely recommend this place and renting from Chris. He’s attentive and communicative. We hope to come back again next year.

We really loved our stay at this condo. Three of us stayed for four nights and we had a great time. We loved the location, walk across street to beach, close to restaurants, and great views from the balcony. The unit has been updated nicely as well. The king bed was really comfy. The mattresses in the hall bunks aren’t the best. Should be fine for small kids but if you have teens planning to sleep there, it might be a problem. I ended up sleeping on the couch which was actually really comfy though. Communication with management was excellent throughout the whole stay. There are actually 3 beach chairs instead of two, and they’re great quality. There’s also a boogey board and other beach play items as well. We really enjoyed our stay! The building is quite old, but the recent upgrades are nice! Beach access is super convenient! Just a short walk across the street. There were a few things that weren't working properly, but I texted Jacquie and she was quick to respond. The balcony door doesn't close very well and you can't really see out the windows. I hope it gets replaced, because it would be wonderful to see the view from inside! The balcony is very slanted. The railing felt secure, but the slant was a bit unsettling being three stories high. We stayed in October and it was pretty quiet most of the time! The window or wall in the master bedroom doesn't block hardly any sound. That was only an issue when the people next door were coming and going. The parking lot is pretty narrow and I'd imagine it'd be difficult getting in and out during the busier months. The kitchen had been recently updated and it's nice! Furniture was great. The master bed is more firm than I'd like, but wasn't terribly uncomfortable. Check-in was very simple and Chris sent a detailed email about check-in well in advance. Overall we were very happy with our stay and are hoping to visit again in the future!   Date of arrival - October 9, 2021

This was my first time staying in this area and the first time my boyfriend had even been to the gulf. The condo was lovely and the view was fabulous even across from the street. I loved that the bed was king sized and it was very comfortable. Hot water was always plentiful which was really nice. The sofa was also extremely comfortable and I found myself napping some since the weather wasn’t great. There were plenty of towels and amenities as listed. The kitchen was very nice and had all sorts of utensils, cookware, plates, cups, etc. Also very nice that they had beach chairs, an umbrella, body board, float and other items for the beach! Check-in was a breeze. The AC worked flawlessly. We were close to lots of stuff, but it still was a very peaceful area which I loved. Pool and hot tub were nice as well as outside grills which we used. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for the two of us. I just returned from four nights at Summer Breeze for a quick beach getaway with my family. Two adults, a teenager, and two kids all fit comfortably. Pros: - Nice updates to property. While the building seems to be a little older, the redone kitchen and newer furniture/decor really made the unit shine. I found the condo and Summer Breeze property to be clean and well taken care of. - The layout of the condo is great, nobody felt cramped or like we were on top of one another. There are pocket doors that separate the living room area from the hallway/bunk area, which we appreciated. - King sized bed was SUPER comfortable. - Balcony was nice sized, spent every morning and evening sitting at the high top table taking in the view. Loved seeing dolphins every morning! - Proximity to the beach couldn’t be beat. I was hesitant at first to stay near a public beach, as we have always stayed at locations with private beach access in the past, but with younger kids and a riptide statement in effect during our whole trip, I was very thankful to have life guards nearby. I also loved the restrooms and shower for when we were done. - Pool and hot tub were on the smaller side but very clean. - Ease of getting in and out of the condo. No elevators/lobbies/massive parking lots to have to navigate to get to our car. If someone forgot something in the backseat (which is apparently my kids’ hobby), it took two seconds to run down and grab it. - Noise: I heard none. The first night we arrived, I was concerned because some people at the pool were playing loud music and laughing, but once we shut the balcony door, we heard nothing. The bedroom has a window that faces the front and I never heard anyone else coming or going. Cons: - My son complained that the bunk mattress was not the most comfortable. - I really struggled with the sliding lock on the front door. I would have liked to lock that at night when we slept. I think some WD-40 would take care of it. - When the wind blew just right, you could smell Pompano Joe’s, which made everyone complain they were staaaarving all the time. ;) Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely be back!”

The location of this condo is perfect! It is right across from a public beach with restrooms and outdoor showers to clean off! They have a pool for the condos with plenty of chairs and even grills you can use. The condo is clean and decorated to make you feel like you are at the beach. They even have items you can borrow for the beach which was helpful since we drove so far and didn’t have room for extra items. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a beautiful beach getaway and already plan to return next year!!

There were rental chairs and umbrellas available at the beach as well. I Would stay here again. The place is a little on the older side but we enjoyed our stay. Perfect for two or maybe two adults and two kids. Little on the small side. It was just my husband and I so it was perfect for us. Third floor unit so it’s a great view. No elevator though. If stairs are a problem for you, you may want to rethink. However; Perfect location at a great price for us!

This place is on 3rd floor for those who cannot handle stairs. There are washers and dryers but not in the unit, was not a huge problem for us, we only washed once so it was fine. The place is not big, so with just the 3 of us it worked fine. Place was clean. Few suggestions, and in no way , are these negatives! For those of us very light sleepers, It would be great to have room darkening curtains in the bedroom, and in the Living room, it would have helped keep out the heat and bright light from the outdoors. Also, there needs to be more light in the living room AND bedroom, the small lamps are way to small, you can get the tall lamps that you can put in a corner if your tight on space..As someone else mentioned, the lighting in the kitchen, it would be nice if there was light under the hood of the oven, or just somewhere else, the above light is so very bright. I know you are still working on some things in the place, hopefully those will get done to make it even better. It would be great if we could see through the sliding doors to the balcony, I noticed other condos had some of the same problem but not all, to sit inside and see the view would be nice, but hopefully with time, improvements will be made, to end this, it is a nice , clean place with a great location and easy to work with owner. I would definitely recommend!!

Condo was clean and nicely furnished. The floors and tub/shower need to be updated. The kitchen cabinets and counter tops are nice but the microwave needs to be mounted above the stove to give more counter space.

Chris had our needs taken care of in 305. It could use some paint and updating, but definitely met our needs. Clean, quiet, & and close to the beach / attractions. Comfy room & furnishings. Stocked with essentials...even French Vanilla Folgers. The beach chairs were great. Less stuff to bring on the trip. Great view of beach & Gulf. Literally steps from the beach. The kids loved the bunks & being so close to go from beach to pool. ✓ in & ✓ was a "breeze." Might want a ground floor next time. Stairs on vacation. Oof. Thanks for making our trip memorable.

The 4 Of Us

The room was clean and fit what we needed for our stay. The only draw back for us was the public beach access. The showers and restrooms were very convenient but the location was very busy. We usually stay a little farther down from this location and its not near as busy. Good stay overall and would recommend it. This doesn't really have anything to do with the room but we had a couple beach chairs that were next to our car stolen one day. We left them by the car so we didn't have to carry them up to use the bathroom and they were gone with we came back down ten minutes later. Just want to give a heads up to watch your stuff a little closer.

Didnt get back in the car the entire trip! Walked everywhere! Never got back in the car! Condo was perfect for our needs. Master bed was comfy. The view from the balcony is phenomenal. Grilled out on charcoal grills twice and walked over to restaurants the other nights. It was just so simple and easy and that's what vacations are supposed to be about! The beach was awesome. There is a dolphin reef located there on the public beach where we saw dolphin having their lunch! It was perfect!

This condo has everything you could ask for. Check in was easy and the condo was extremely clean. Beautiful updated kitchen, very comfortable beds, and a gorgeous view. Easy access to everything the locale has to offer. We will stay here again and again!

We had a great time in Florida. Summer Breeze is a wonderful place. The condo was very clean and the deck view of the beach was truly amazing. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing me to make breakfast every morning. The beach is right across the street form the condo. I went to the beach early in the morning by myself everyday - very safe place. The weather was perfect and we will be back next year. Thank you Chico Properties!

Morning coffee on the balcony was perfect. The ocean is so close and an easy walk. It was perfect for a girls trip get away. We would stay here again for sure!

This Destin area is beautiful. The week was wonderful the weather was great all week. Summer Breeze pool and hot tub area is real nice and very clean. The room had a great view. BUT IT WAS DIRTY The kitchen was updated but does not have much for cooking and what it did have was junk. I had to go buy a skillet, The bed was comfortable but it is to big for the room along with a dresser you cant even get to the side of the bed. The bathroom is out dated. The toilet sits so low to the ground that it may be a kid toilet. I did call the property management because when I got ready for bed there was hair on the sheets they was there pretty quick to change them for me.

There was also a leak under the sink in the kitchen that I did find the night before we left that I cleaned up the water. After me cleaning the place My husband and I did enjoy this area. I would not stay in this unit again unless the owner made a lot of changes CLEANING FOR ONE.

It was so good that Chris Chicco got that unit when he did because we were having problems finding a place at Summer Breeze. Our previous condo that we had stayed in for five years had been sold in the fall so that left us scrambling to find a place. Chris was willing to keep that one for us when he finished renovating it. We were then able to get back there with all our friends. And Chris was a great landlord, answering our emails when we sent them and we are booked again for next year!

Simply outstanding! This is the 3rd time we've stayed in this beautiful condo and will only visit Destin when this unit is available. Very relaxing and you're only a few steps from the beach. The view is incredible!

The condo was clean, neat, and in order. There was nothing that a quick trip to the grocery store could not take care of. We decided to rent a 3rd floor unit to let the grandkids have full view of the beach and the waves. The look in their eyes said it all! Even though it was a bit chilly to get past your knees in the water, the sand castles were just as much fun and they got plenty of swim time in the heated pool. Everything was great and we will return - but maybe without the kids next time. :-)

We absolutely loved the wide open view from this third floor unit! We loved sitting on the porch to watch the beach and listen to the waves. And it took less than a minute to get from our door to the beautiful white sand. Our next favorite was the nice hot tub and the heated pool on the property. This place had everything we needed. New furniture, appliances, and sufficient kitchenware to cook great seafood meals every night. The bed was just a tad harder than I am used to, but we still slept well. This is the perfect place for any couple or family with one or two kids.
