Destin Beach Escapes started in 2009 when Jeff Landry, a lifelong New Yorker with a soft spot for Northwest Florida, bought a single weather-worn cottage on Scenic Highway 98. He fixed the porch himself, painted the shutters seafoam, and rented it to a family from Cleveland. They came back the next summer. And the summer after that.
Fourteen years later, we look after sixty-two beachfront homes from Miramar Beach to Seagrove — every one of them inspected in person, stocked thoughtfully, and backed by a local team you can actually call after dark. We aren't a platform. We're hosts.
